ABOUT US

Canning Motor Trimmers was established in 1986 by Mark and Julie Skiba. We are a family run business, which now includes our son, Shaun. We began business in Ryelane Street Maddington, but moved to our current premises at 95-97 Kelvin Road Maddington in 1994, and in 2005 we bought the unit next door and expanded to make our workshop the size it is now.

OUR STAFF

MARK SKIBA

Mark has over 40 years experience as a motor trimmer. He started his motor trimming career as an after school job in Taupo, New Zealand and he completed his Motor Trimming and Upholstery Apprenticeships in Taupo.

Mark left NZ in 1981 to come to Perth, and started business with his wife Julie as Canning Motor Trimmers in 1986.

SHAUN SKIBA

Shaun always loved to go to work with this Dad. So when school holidays came that was where he went. It became obvious in his early teens that he wanted to become an Auto and Marine Upholsterer.

Shaun left school at the end of Year 11 to join the business and begin his apprenticeship, and is now an integral member of the team.

We hold a current Motor Vehicle Repair Business Licence (MRB5775) and we have Insurance Cover for Public Liability and Property.
